This one I knew was going to be challenging. I had plotted out the design and knew it was pushing the limits of what I can do.
I started this on January 16th, the sun was out, but I knew in a short time the clouds would be rolling in. I got the template done in about 3 hours, 9500 steps (4.4 miles).
I was happy, things aligned fairly well, and no major mistakes (or so I thought). When I referenced the design I noticed I had put a few tracks where there should be none. I quickly devised a way to cover those mistakes. The next morning the plan was put into action. The sun was not out when I started so I left the drone in the basement. Another 3 hours of snowshoeing, 8300 steps (3.8 miles) and the design was finished.
Luckily, the sun came out about the same time, for about 40 minutes. Just enough time to photograph and video the completed design.
The intricacy of this design was really challenging. I may go back and try to do a little more to fill in some spaces, but at this time I consider it complete. Total, 6 hours, 17,800 steps (8.2 miles)
Here is the final video short that I created.
