27 January 2022 - Stuck in Vermont - Flowers

Eva Sollberger and her friend Howard came by to do a piece for Stuck in Vermont. We are so excited! They helped with the beginnings of the next design. Julie and I are big fans of Stuck in Vermont and this was a real honor. This was one of the first I had put on paper and is a modified version of Seven Circle with the outside circles being incomplete. This was all done with rope and pole. We didn't finish the design on this day and weather kept me from finishing it for a few days. By then, the design had completely disappeared and I had to start over.


1 February 2022 - Making progress on last Thursday's design. Should be done today. So far, 24,942 steps (11.9 miles), 5 1/2 hours; that's not including last weeks hour and steps. The wind and snow covered that and I had to start over.

My tools also changed, the ground was so frozen I used a crowbar and sledgehammer to get a post in the ground.

Some would argue that this design is incomplete and I would agree, except it is the largest I had done to date, it was my second attempt, and I ran out of steam.
